when the old ones die off

The Water Oaks on campus are reaching their natural end, many are termite ridden and limbs are starting to fall off. These were likely planted when the campus was first developed.  They are beautiful, stately old trees and it is a little sad to see them felled. I suppose it’s better than having one fall on a student.
