mystery plant along BRP

Breaking away from alpacas for a moment, these were mixed in with the rhododendrons but they didn’t look quite like rhododendrons. I love the orange color. Any thoughts on what these are?

    Maybe, but it was very early and the leaves were slightly different. Could be though.

    Beth, This is known as a Flame azalea. They are very striking. I try growing them in my garden but they don’t seem to last beyond 5 years
