We have a new library exhibit up on the life of memorials. One of the pieces has a 1,000 paper cranes to illustrate the story of Sadako Sasaki, the young girl who suffered and died of leukemia after radiation exposure from the Hiroshima bomb. I illustrated this story in one of my very first artist books that I made in 1988.
