Childhood Revisited

One of the many things my Mom is, is a master embroiderer. Her gold work is amazing. When we were little, she would translate our drawings into needlework. She recently gave me one of these, it’s even more special than having the drawing itself. Happy Birthday Mom, you are my hero and the best Mom ever!

    That’s really very, very cool.

Some day I hope to have one of her gold pieces, her work is truly amazing. Obviously this is a simple needlepoint, but I still love it and smile every time I pass it.

How wonderful! I can see where you get your artistic streak from, Beth. (Not to mention your archival urges…)
