Segregation In The South

This weekend I visited Historic Halifax, the provincial seat of North Carolina in 1776 and a stop along the Underground Railroad. Ms. Prince is buried in the African-American cemetery (map JPG), with at least one other person whose grave is marked. The cemetery is up the hill from the main square and the church (white) graveyard.
