So Thirsty

The older trees on campus have been really stressed with the 100+ heat and lack of rain. They are starting to self destruct.

      We are finally getting rain, but the trees need so much more than a sprinkle. This is the second tree this week that has just broken apart.

      Many of the trees on campus are reaching their natural life span any way, so all this additional stress is quickening the end. It is sad to see such large and beautiful trees die off.
